Throughout the development and delivery of the Ashington Regeneration Programme we are keen to get your views. We will post information about events, planning consultations and the latest progress to keep you up to date and involved.

Come along and talk to the people involved in delivering the exciting new plans for Ashington town centre.

Please join us at either one of two upcoming public events:

  • 10am - 1pm on Saturday, 18 May 2024 
  • 4pm - 7pm on Wednesday, 22 May 2024

Both at the Arts Hub at the YMCA Building, North View, Ashington, NE63 9XQ.


Displays at the event include the following projects: 

  • Redevelopment of Wansbeck Square 

  • Public Realm & Connectivity, including plans for Grand Corner 

  • Portland Park Cinema and Restaurants 

  • Accelerate Ashington 

  • Northumberland Line
