Voting and Elections

The electoral register is a list of people who are eligible to vote in elections and referendums in Northumberland. You cannot vote if your name does not appear on the register.

Community Chest

The scheme gives local organisations a chance to bid for funding.

Five Local Area Committees cover five areas of Northumberland and are there to help communities have a greater say in council affairs. These cover north Northumberland, Tynedale, Castle Morpeth, Cramlington/Bedlington/Seaton Valley, and Ashington/Blyth.
