An administration has been formed by the Liberal Democrats and the Leader, Deputy Leader and eight portfolio holders of the council’s executive have all been appointed as detailed below:

The Policy Board (formerly known as the Executive) is made up of elected councillors and nominated by the Leader. The Leader was elected by a session of full council on 23 May 2013.
