Northumberland County Council have worked in partnership with PCL Travel to deliver a new Morpeth Town ‘T1’ bus service, which will begin on Monday 3rd April.
The new bus service is great news for residents and will provide regular journeys between Morpeth Bus Station and the St George’s Development while also serving Lancaster Park, Northgate Hospital, Stobhill Grange and the railway station.
Janice Rose, Economic and Inclusion Policy Manager, Northumberland County Council said: “It is great news that we can add this new bus service to Morpeth to service the town and provide greater transport options for residents while connecting a greater range of areas.
“The new T1 service will offer a real enhancement to the existing public transport provision in Morpeth and will provide a regular bus service to areas that are currently not served.”
