The daily booking of the iconic Blyth Beach huts is to be reinstated during the summer months, following the Government’s announcement that Covid 19 restrictions are to end.
To mark National Empty Homes Week (28 February- 6 March), Northumberland County Council is highlighting the work that is taking place to address the problem of empty properties in the county and is appealing to anyone who owns or knows of a long-term empty property to get in touch.
A tenant has been evicted from his Northumberland County Council owned property this week, for crime and anti-social behaviour which was causing misery and fear to his neighbours and the community of Blyth.
