Town Centre Highway Infrastructure

Works will be designed to take account of the impact of new developments at Portland Park, Wansbeck Square as well as wider active travel improvements to pedestrian access and traffic flows. 

Potential timescales: Surveys and design work will get underway in 2025 once the designs for projects at Portland Park and Wansbeck Square are finalised, with highways construction to commence in 2026.
