Accelerate Ashington is a business support package delivered by Advance Northumberland with two key elements: digital support and start-up support.

Accelerate Ashington

Digital support will be provided to local businesses that are currently trading in Ashington.

This enables access to digital tools for existing businesses within the town centre, as well as providing start-up support for entrepreneurial individuals in the town looking to start and establish new businesses, organisations or social enterprises.  

It includes funded access to digital tools such as:

  • Digital auditing of business operations to identify opportunities to further develop
  • A focused digital marketing campaign, aiming to increase your online reach
  • Designing and building a bespoke company website

Timescales: This project commenced in November 2022 and runs until June 2024.

Funding: This project is one element of the Ashington High Street Innovation Programme with funding from North of Tyne Combined Authority’s Towns and High Streets Investment Programme and the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
