Community Engagement event in Blyth

Northumberland County Council are inviting residents to a Community Engagement event in Blyth on Tuesday May 15th.
The Community Engagement Event, named ‘Let’s Talk’ will take place on Tuesday 15th May, between 10am - 1pm at the Buffalo community centre, Blyth, and is an opportunity for local residents to meet with a variety of organisations and services, discuss their local area and raise any concerns they may have.
Residents will have the opportunity to talk to the Community Safety Officers from the Council’s Housing and Public Protection Service, Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service, local Police, officers from Homes for Northumberland, the Surestart team and the local food bank, among other organisations, and this is an opportunity for residents to discuss topics that are important to them about their local area.
John Riddle, cabinet member for Planning, Housing and Resilience at Northumberland County Council said: “We encourage residents to attend our community engagement event in Blyth as this is a great opportunity to have their say and impact on their local area.
“Through working closely with local communities we are able to work together to tackle issues raised and make positive changes to benefit local residents.”
