Starting on 28th April, the first journey to Morpeth and the last journey from Morpeth on Arriva route 2 are extended to start from and continue to Blyth.  Click here for the new timetable on Arriva route 2.

From 7th May, the journey at 0730 from Ashington to North Shields on Go North East route 19 starts 10 minutes earlier at 0720.  The time of arrival in North Shields, and the times of all other journeys on the route are unchanged.  Click here for the new timetable.

Starting on 12th May, buses on Arriva route X18 (Newcastle - Berwick via Amble, Alnwick and Bamburgh) call at new stops at HMP Northumberland near Acklington.  The times of most buses are adjusted by 1 minute between Acklington and Alnwick.  Click here for the new timetable.

From 16th May, a new service known as the Berwick Hopper runs in Berwick.  Using a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, it runs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, between the Holiday Centre, railway station, town centre (Marygate, Hide Hill and Bridge Street), and Tweedmouth (West End).  Click here for the timetable.

From 25th May, extra journeys are provided on Travelsure route 418 between Alnwick, Bamburgh and Belford.  The new journeys run at 0900 and 1300 from Alnwick, and at 1135 from Belford, and they connect with buses on Arriva route X15 at Alnwick and Belford.  Click here for the new timetable.

Two summer services 508 to Rothbury and Cragside, and 714 to Kielder, recommence on 26th May, and run on Sundays and bank holidays until mid-October.  Click here for the timetables, which are unchanged from last year.

The Hadrian's Wall Bus AD122 is enhanced from 25th May with additional journeys, following an agreement by Northumberland County Council to support journeys which would otherwise not run.  Click here for the new timetable.

From 26th May, several journeys on Arriva route 43 between Cramlington and Newcastle are retimed, once again to improve punctuality.  Click here for the new timetable.

From 26th May, most journeys on Arriva routes 53 and 53A, between Cramlington, Whitley Bay and North Shields, are retimed to improve punctuality. A small number of poorly-used journeys in the early morning are cancelled.  Click here for the new timetable.

Starting on 28th May, the Phoenix Taxis local service between Blyth and Cowpen is withdrawn.  Four new routes B1 B2 B3 and B4 are provided, to Cowpen, Benridge Park and other parts of Blyth.  Click here for the new timetables.

On the bank holidays 6th and 27th May, most bus operators in Northumberland provide a Sunday timetable.  The exception is on the town services in Berwick, and on routes which cross the border into Scotland, where the usual Monday timetable runs.
