Enjoy a night under a shared sky with Alnwick author

Celebrate World Book Night with Northumberland Libraries and Alnwick author Caro Giles this Monday (April 24) at a free online event.

Caro’s book “Twelve Moons: A Year Under a Shared Sky” - about her time living in the wilds of Northumberland with her daughters - will be the focus of the event which takes place at 7pm.

The session is Northumberland’s contribution to the Reading Agency’s World Book Night which this year invites people to join the ‘Road to Reading’ by pledging to spend at least 30 minutes a week reading.

According to research, adults who read for 30 minutes a week are more likely to have higher self-esteem, feel socially included and get greater life satisfaction so it’s got to be worth a go!

Why not get on your Road to Reading by joining the event and finding out more about Caro’s adventures, during the designated ‘Reading Hour’ on Monday. Book via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/world-book-night-with-caro-giles-tickets-602585478387
