Supporter donations

The arts are not simply ‘nice to have’, or an ‘add-on’ to education. They have the power to change and shape young lives. Music in-particular can create opportunities for children to express their ideas and form their values.

Funding is reducing every year and families are finding it harder to find the money to pay for music lessons for their children.
  • £15 per month can sponsor a child’s place in a county ensemble.
  • £18 per month would provide free instrumental or vocal tuition for a child.
  • £6 per month would provide free instrument hire for a child.
  • A one off donation of £15 would buy a child’s place on a workshop day.

A guitarist jumping in the air. We're a music venue and we are Here for culture - Thanks to the Government's Culture Recovery Fund we can continue to be #Here For Culture

Culture creates jobs, supports livelihoods, and brings joy to everyone. The UK leads the world in the creative industries and we can all feel pride in that. Now, in these challenging times, it’s our turn to show our support for culture. With an unprecedented investment through the Culture Recovery Fund, the government is #HereForCulture so it can weather the storm of coronavirus and come back stronger.

#HereForCulture is a movement that unites the public, government and cultural organisations in support of our fantastic cinemas, theatres, music venues, galleries and heritage. With more culture being curated online, there is no better time to support and enjoy all the new and exciting ways culture is available to us!

Join us to show your support – whether it’s announcing or welcoming funding or promoting online or COVID-secure ways to experience and enjoy culture. Through this funding we will be able to:
  • Deliver 2 large scale online concerts, Unity Through Music 2 & the Big Gig
  • Create multiple online and in person demos to support our work in schools
  • Create online resources to support schools as they relaunch music education after Covid
  • Ensure we can deliver lessons in a covid secure environment
  • Continue to provide free instrument loan during the summer term
  • Support as many students and families as possible to continue with their musical journey during these financially challenging times through the creation of a bursary scheme
