Support for parents and guardians

How can you support an apprentice?

If you are a parent, guardian, or carer, you can help inspire the apprentices of tomorrow.

Apprenticeships are a great way to start a career

Designed by employers, apprenticeship training reflects the skills, knowledge, and behaviours an apprentice will need for a particular occupation. Training is of a high standard and only employers on the register of apprenticeship training providers can deliver the training.

Earn while they learn

An apprentice works in a real job and spends 20% of their working hours training. This helps them gain the skills needed for their chosen occupation. All of our apprenticeships include a qualification, and all training is free so there is no student debt to worry about.

University or an apprenticeship?

A school or college leaver can apply for university and an apprenticeship at the same time. They can make their final decision after they have had time to consider their options.
