A fantastic new soft play area is to open this Friday (18 August) at Wentworth Sports and Leisure Centre in Hexham. 
 

The three-tier soft play is knights and castle themed and is suitable for children up to 10 years of age. It is also available to book for children’s parties. 
 

There are tunnels, slides and a variety of obstacles to keep the kids amused and entertained for hours in a safe and interactive way and there is a toddler zone for younger children. 
 

The adjacent HIVE cafe area has also been refurbished providing a comfortable seating place for parents to relax while watching over their children. 
 

Mark Warnes, chief executive of Active Northumberland said: 

“The centre has a fantastic leisure offer with bowling, swimming, and now soft play for families to enjoy. 

“The new soft play area will provide a great place for parents to come to keep their little ones entertained and blow off some excess energy.   

“We anticipate it will be busy at first, especially as we are in the school holidays, so booking is recommended.”
