**Storm Update** Visiting Northumberland

Following Storm Dudley and ahead of Storm Eunice, we are asking people to think about their plans when visiting areas of Northumberland.
Residents and visitors’ safety is extremely important, and we are asking that you consider the following before you make plans:
- Is it safe to travel?
- Have you checked local websites for updated information as to whether the area you plan to visit is open and safe to do so?
- Do you intend to visit hills, water or woodland – all areas which could become extremely dangerous during a storm?
Northumberland is very much open but some of the county’s wooded areas are still affected by previous storm damage so please ensure every care is taken before making a visit.
