Library Christmas and New Year Opening Times

The following libraries will be open on Monday 23 Dec. All other libraries not listed will be closed:
- Ashington 9am - 6pm (with self service available during leisure centre opening hours)
- Berwick 9am - 5pm
- Blyth 9am - 7pm
- Cramlington 9am - 5pm
- Hexham 9am - 5pm
- Morpeth 9am - 6pm (with self service available during leisure centre opening hours)
- Newbiggin 9am - 5pm (self service only)
- Ponteland 6am - 10pm (self service only)
- Prudhoe 9am - 5pm
Most libraries will be closed over the Christmas period and reopen as usual on Thursday 2 January 2025 or their next scheduled working day.
The hub libraries listed below will be open in between Christmas and New Year.

- Ashington Library will be open and library staff available on Christmas Eve 9am - 12pm.
- Ashington Library, Newbiggin Library and Ponteland Library will also be open on a self-service basis where library members will be able to use the kiosks to issue and return items during leisure centre opening times.
- Morpeth Library will also be open on a self-service basis during leisure centre opening hours where library members will be able to use the kiosks to issue and return items when library staff are not there.
- Mobile Libraries will stop operating after Friday 20 December with the first date of operation after Christmas being Thursday 2 January.
