Have you ever thought about joining a reading group or book club? On 14 September we’ll be celebrating National Reading Group Day, run by national charity The Reading Agency.

84% of people feel more connected to other people because of being part of a reading group.  We have over 70 reading groups who meet in local libraries, village halls and residences.

If you want to discover and talk about new books and meet new people, get in touch to find out about the reading groups that we have available for you to join.  Please ask at your local library or email mylibrary@northumberland.gov.uk
