Families are welcome in our libraries over the Easter holidays and we have a huge range of eggcellent activities for everyone to enjoy. Please ensure you book ahead to avoid any disappointment as numbers will be limited. Bookings are all via
Eventbrite or as listed.
We are looking forward to performances of Vinland: A Viking Adventure at
Newbiggin and
Bedlington Station Libraries with our partners Highlights Rural Touring and Northumberland Holiday Provision. STEM themed fun will be a big feature this Easter and eggcellent engineers can take part in one of two special Build Your Own Robotic Puppet sessions with Newcastle’s Centre for Life at Haltwhistle and Wooler Libraries. Local children's author Holly Taylor will lead story and activity sessions at Bedlington and Ashington Libraries based around her book “The Magic Inside of Me".
In addition as always there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy Easter themed craft and story sessions in libraries across the county, read on to check out what‘s happening at the library nearest you!
