Celebrate World Book Night

World Book Night is the annual celebration of books and reading that takes place on 23 April. People from all backgrounds are brought together for one reason – to inspire others to read more.

Every year, a list of books is put together to encourage and inspire everyone to read. Take a look at this year's list and borrow or reserve it from your local library. Some titles are also available from our digital library BorrowBox.

To celebrate, our hub libraries at Berwick, Blyth, Cramlington, Morpeth and Hexham will be hiding Golden Tickets around the town, entitling you to a free book - keep your eyes peeled!
