Highlights Rural Touring Scheme brings
Pinocchio by Norwich Puppet Theatre to Northumberland Libraries this Easter Holidays
A brand-new production of the classic Italian fairytale, Pinocchio is a fast-paced journey of discovery with hints of danger, slapstick humour and a playful exploration of identity suitable for young audiences.
Oh…and…. there’s a very big fish.
Bringing splashes of colour and energy to a monotone world Pinocchio sets out on an adventure to try, fail, and try again to find their heart and become a real child.
This playful and highly visual production features skilful puppetry, illusion and object theatre and a lively soundtrack, designed and directed by Steve Tiplady and Liz Walker. Using traditional and contemporary puppet craft, Norwich Puppet Theatre bring a fresh twist to well-loved fairy tales and stories, entrancing children and adults alike.
