West Hartford Fire Station will open its doors on Saturday 23 September

Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service opens its doors to public for open day on Saturday

The event runs from 10am-4pm and offers a chance to learn more about the local emergency services, with guests such as North East Ambulance Service, Northumbria Police, Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team 

Koast Radio will also be in attendance and will be broadcasting a full live show from the event, playing music and interviewing staff and vendors on the day. 

The Money raised from a raffle will go to The Fire Fighters Charity, a charity which offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to live happier and healthier lives. 

Entry is free of charge, there will be an array of things to see and do, from funfair rides to demonstrations from crews and Northumberland Fire Cadets. There will also be a variety of vendors selling food and homemade products. 

There will be a parking marshal on the day to assist with parking.
