Bulky waste is normally additional waste generated by a household that they need to dispose of, including waste types that are too large to be disposed of via our regular waste collections.

You can also dispose of bulky waste items in other ways:

If the above options are not suitable, our bulky waste collection service might be right for you. We can collect a variety of items from the edge of your property for a charge based on the number of items. Concessionary discount is available, but not for quoted collections.

Do we recycle your bulky waste?

We try to recycle as much bulky waste as possible.

If, however, you fill plastic sacks with numerous items, there is no one to decide which items are recyclable and which aren’t.

If you would like your cans, plastic bottles, paper etc. to be recycled, then put these loose into your kerbside recycling bin.
