The County Council’s "Work Smart Live Well" service will host two exciting pop-up events at Manor Walks Shopping Centre in celebration of National Employability Day on Friday, 13th September.
Celebrating its ninth year, Employability Day 2024 is themed around employment support for every resident.
From careers guidance, help with your CV and applications and support to improve your wellbeing, the free weekly service that operates every Tuesday 9.30am - 1pm from the Cramlington Hub (next to Concordia Leisure Centre) offers personalised support designed to help residents progress in work and life.
This year, "Work Smart Live Well," a Northumberland County Council initiative partly funded by the North East Combined Authority, is showcasing its services to the community with two pop-up events.
The events will take place on Tuesday 10th September 10am-12.30pm and Friday 13th September from 10am-2pm.
These pop-up events will provide an opportunity for residents to explore the comprehensive range of free services offered by "Work Smart Live Well."
Councillor Richard Wearmouth, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Supporting Business and Opportunities, said: “National Employability Day is a perfect occasion to highlight the vast range of employment support available to help residents progress in work and life.
“We’re thrilled to showcase Work Smart Live Well in Manor Walks and share information on how residents can access support.”
