Cafes close but Country Parks remain open - 17 March 2020

Cafes at Country Parks in Northumberland will be closed from tomorrow until further notice.

This is in line with Government guidance on preventing the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Cafes affected will be those at Bolam Lake and at Plessey Woods Country Parks.  The Cafe at Druridge Bay Country Park is currently closed for improvement works.

The cafe at Tyne Riverside Country Park in Prudhoe is not operated by the council.  Please check at the venue for further information.

All country parks will remain open and the council is encouraging those for whom it is safe to do so to visit and enjoy the fresh air and environments which they provide - whilst following guidance on social distancing.

Public toilets at the parks will also remain open.
