Hexham furniture sale to support community learning centre



A community scheme that helps adults with learning difficulties to acquire new skills is holding a furniture sale and the proceeds from it will be reinvested back into this important service.

The sale  will take place on Saturday 23 February  in the Tynedale Centre in Hexham providing a fantastic opportunity to pick up some spring  bargains.

On sale will be reclaimed and restored furniture including tables, chairs, dressers, chests of drawers and one off quirky pieces, all loving restored and on offer  at a competitive price.

There will also be soaps, ceramics, jewellery, homemade food, photos and plants on sale,  brought from learning day centres around the county.

Northumberland County Council runs eight learning day centres  where staff help over 170 adults with learning disabilities acquire new skills.

The sale will take place between 10 am – 4pm,    at CORE, the Tynedale Centre, Unit 13, Haugh Lane Industrial Estate, Hexham , NE46 3PU
