Prince of Wales visiting Northumberland

His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is visiting Northumberland next week.
On Wednesday 12th September he will be at The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre; a special Northumberland Showcase Market and Hexham Abbey in Hexham; Kirkharle, the birthplace of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown; and the Kielder Salmon Centre and Hatchery.
On Thursday 13th he will see a juniper restoration and propagation project at the Moorland Spirit Company Ltd’s Hepple Gin distillery and visit the Alnwick Garden to attend the Lord Lieutenant of Northumberland’s Garden Party for Volunteers and Carers.
Cllr Peter Jackson, leader of Northumberland County Council said: “We are delighted that his Royal Highness is making these visits in Northumberland.
“It is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase everything that is great about this wonderful county.
“I am sure that he cannot fail to be very impressed by the many fascinating projects and initiatives that he is going to see, and certain that everyone will give him a very warm welcome.”
