Community Choirs perform in local libraries

On Saturday 13 October, to mark National Libraries Week, community choirs will be singing in Northumberland Libraries.

The joy of singing will be brought to Wylam, Hexham and Morpeth libraries and members of the public are being invited along to watch them perform at these free events.

The choirs will perform at:

Hexham Library - Off the Wall A Cappella Choir will perform  2-3pm
Morpeth Library - Sing Morpeth, a local choir will be performing 10.30-11.30
Wylam Library - volunteers from Wylam Community Orchard will be pressing apples to make juice which visitors will be able to taste. Meanwhile Wylam Singers choir will be singing at 11am.

Cramlington Library  will be hosting a singing and music session for young children aged 8 and under, and their guardians between 10.30-11am
