Hexham furniture sale support adults with learning difficulties

A community scheme that helps adults with learning difficulties acquire new skills is holding a furniture sale on Saturday 28 July, the proceeds from which will be reinvested back into this important service.
The sale will take place in the Tynedale Centre in Hexham between 10am- 4pm providing a fantastic opportunity to pick up some spring bargains.
On sale will be reclaimed and restored antique and pre-loved furniture. These include tables, chairs, dressers, chests of drawers and one off quirky pieces, all loving restored and on offer at a competitive price.
Northumberland County Council runs eight learning day centres where staff help over 170 adults with learning disabilities acquire new skills.
Northumberland County Councillor, Veronica Jones cabinet member with responsibility for adult wellbeing and health said:
“ A lot of time, effort and pride has been put into making the products for this sale. Please do call in and have a look around if you are able. I am sure there will be some excellent bargains to be had.”
The sale will take place at CORE, the Tynedale Centre, Unit 13, Haugh Lane Industrial Estate, Hexham , NE46 3PU
