An online survey to help shape the future of Morpeth has now closed.
Northumberland County Council is working with a range of stakeholders including Morpeth Forum to develop a masterplan on how the town develops over the next few years and how services can best be delivered to local people.
Earlier this summer a drop-in event outlined progress on developments and provided an opportunity to speak to key council officers, and a range of other stakeholders who are working on future plans.
The council was particularly keen to hear people’s thoughts on the proposals for the Chantry and library and an online survey ran until August 3.
Councillor Richard Wearmouth, Cabinet Member for Economic Development, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to either call in to the drop-in event or fill in the online survey,
“All the responses will be carefully considered as we move forward and we’ll be sharing the findings with the community in due course.”
