Hexham is home to a variety of picturesque parks, all situated in the centre of the market town.

Hexham is home to a variety of picturesque parks, all situated in the centre of the market town: the Sele, Hexham House grounds, and the abbey grounds.

The parks feature formal gardens, a bowling green, play areas, a bandstand, war memorial and a skate park. All of the green spaces and parks in Hexham have proudly held a Green Flag Award status since 2002.

Launching drones from County Council land is only allowed with the consent of the Council and where a formal license agreement has been signed. The council reserves the right to refuse consent and where consent is granted will require evidence of your Civil Aviation Training Certificate and public liability insurance.

All of the parks are within walking distance of each other and are located within the town near to a variety of shops and cafes.

Please use Hexham town centre parking for the parks. 
Hexham railway station is approximately a 10 minute walk from the parks.
The nearest bus stops are located on Hencotes.

The parks at Hexham are open throughout the whole year.

The park is managed by the neighbourhood services team at Northumberland County Council.
