When we receive a 999 call our Fire Control at HQ, West Hartford obtains as much information as possible. Using sophisticated technology they evaluate the situation and dispatch the appropriate fire appliances and other resources as needed.

All crews have now cleared from the Road Traffic Collision on the A1 near Clifton and the casualty is being dealt with by @NEAmbulance so the incident is concluded for us here at NFRS. We are ready to respond to whatever comes next when you need us.

A crew from Ponteland and two from Pegswood are dealing with a Road Traffic Collision on the A1 Southbound near Clifton Morpeth @northumbriapol and @NEAmbulance are in attendance as well as a Flexi Duty Officer from @NlandFRS .There is a casualty trapped and crews will be working on scene to extricate.
