How it helped:

What this meant:

  • Better Services for our clients
  • Improved customer care
  • Increased efficiency

Jane Mason, Director of Beach Design Ltd: “Since upgrading we have seen a huge difference in the time it takes to upload and download files. As a design agency we rely heavily on our broadband to enable us to send and receive huge amounts of data, ranging from high-resolution artwork files to large videos and presentations for our customers. Upgrading to super-fast broadband has increased the speed of the process by about 76x!!! Uploads now take minutes in comparison to the hours it took before the upgrade. This increased speed has allowed us to become more productive as a work force and allows us more time to focus on other areas. Due to our office location we had always received very low speeds, until the upgrade we were seeing speeds of approximately 1mbps, there is absolutely no comparison to the speeds we now receive of approximately 76mbps! We work with a range of clients based in locations as far-flung as Aberdeen, London, Devon and Wales, so to us so it was even more important to upgrade asap in order for us to work remotely with these clients. Even the work we do locally needs a lot of data transfer at some point in the process. We are now able to get the finished product to our clients in a timely and stress free manner as soon as they need them, transforming the way we interact with our clients. Previously we were frustrated with our broadband speeds. Now we can’t imagine working life without superfast broadband.”
