Apprenticeship events

We’re on the lookout for the next rising stars to join The Council as apprentices. Starting your career as an apprentice is a great way to build your confidence, gain a qualification and earn a wage.

After the success of our 2024 Apprenticeship Connect events, the NCC apprenticeship team have expanded them to cover more of Northumberland. These events will give people the opportunity to speak to current apprentices and managers, chat with apprenticeship providers, find out how we support apprentices at The Council and find out if an apprenticeship is the right career pathway for you.

  • Saturday 15th February 10am – 1pm, Apprenticeship Connect event at County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF. Attendees will have the chance to meet current apprentices, managers, and apprenticeship providers, including Northumberland Skills.
