Housing related Public Health Advice
The Environmental Health Department at
Northumberland County Council can offer advice and carry out
inspections of suspect properties.
If necessary they can enforce housing
legislation against a landlord. If you are concerned about the
condition of your home (e.g. dangerous wiring, disrepair,
condensation, mould growth etc) or amenities provided (e.g.
washing/WC facilities, suitability of the property in terms of
crowding etc), contact the Environmental Health Department for
