Safeguarding is essential to assure the development and
well-being of young people and adults alike.
We aim to ensure that every child and adult, whatever their
background or circumstances, have the support they need to:
- Be healthy
- Stay safe
- Enjoy and achieve
- Make a positive contribution
- Achieve economic well-being
We work with the Safeguarding Teams across Northumberland County
Council as well as providing our own Safeguarding Specialists to
support learners. We work with other services and agencies to
protect our learners from harm and to help them to achieve what
they want from their lives.
Whether you are a member of NALS staff, you are a learner, a
contractor or a visitor, the welfare and safety of learners is of
paramount importance. To that end, we train our staff on
Safeguarding issues and its procedures.
