It's free to join the library. If you are over 16 years old all you need to do is fill in a brief Library Membership form and show one form of identification giving proof of your name and also your address.

Children and young people under 16 years old will need to get a Library Membership form countersigned by a parent or guardian.
Once you join you are able to borrow items immediately and use your library card at any Northumberland branch library or mobile library to borrow up to a total of 20 items at any one time.
