Civil Marriage Premises Application : The Town Hall, Berwick-upon-Tweed (Renewal)

Effective: 24 Apr 2015 to 15 May 2015

The Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cllr. Flora Simpson has applied for a renewal of licence for the Town Hall, Berwick-upon-Tweed, to be approved for the solemnisation of civil marriages and the formation of civil partnerships in accordance with the Marriage Act 1949 (as amended) and the Civil Partnership Act 2004.

A copy of the application and the plan accompanying it may be inspected at County Hall, Morpeth from Monday to Thursday between 8.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. and Fridays between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.

Any person may give notice in writing of an objection to the grant of approval, with reasons for the objection, within 21 days from the date of publication. Any such objection should be sent or delivered to the Proper Officer for Registration (ref. K. Guy) at the address given below:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Mr. John Edward Ramshaw has applied for a renewal of licence for Clennell Hall, Alwinton, Rothbury, to be approved for the solemnisation of civil marriages and the formation of civil partnerships in accordance with the Marriage Act 1949 (as amended) and the Civil Partnership Act 2004.

Summer opening times for Household Waste Recovery Centres (Council tips)

Effective: 2 Apr 2015 to 30 Sep 2015

We would like to remind residents that the HWRCs opening times have been extended for the Summer Months until 1st October. They are now open from 8am until 7.30pm, seven days each week including Bank Holidays.

Garden Waste Cash Payments

Effective: 17 Feb 2015 to 30 Apr 2015

Customers should be aware that over the counter payments for the garden waste service can be made at our INFORMATION CENTRES only. This does not include the libraries at Prudhoe and Amble. A full list of our Information centres can be found following the link below.
