Delays in Issuing Scholars Travel Passes

Over the course of the last week we have experienced severe problems with our IT systems. This has resulted in delays in sending correspondence to parents and students with regards transport arrangements for the new academic year. We are now processing the backlog of application forms and are hopeful that letters identifying journey details (including travel passes) will be with parents in time for the start of the new term. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused but do request your patience whilst this build-up of work is cleared.

Haltwhistle Library will be moving out of its temporary premises in the Clive Brown shop 7 - 9 September. It will close for business there at 7pm on Monday 6 Sept and reopen in the newly refurbished Mechanics Institute building on WestGate at 9.30am on Friday 10 September.
