Bolam Lake Country Park and the Ratanagiri Buddhist Monastery have teamed up to provide a country walk and tour.
This involves a 1.5 mile walk from Bolam Lake with the monks up to the hill top monastery. It will include time to look round the buildings and ask questions of the monks.
The event starts at 2pm on Saturday 18 August with another opportunity to go on Sunday 14 October at the same time. Stout footwear is advisable and waterproofs. The event is free but donations will be accepted at the monastery. Both events start at the visitor centre and are not bookable, unfortunately dogs are not allowed.
