The Morpeth Shoppers Permit scheme (formerly
known as the free Morpeth Residents Parking Permit) has been
withdrawn. The scheme was replaced on 1st May 2012 by a
new countywide scheme for all Northumberland Residents.
If your existing permit has expired please
continue to use it - Civil Enforcement Officers have been informed
to allow a grace period up to the end of May 2012 to allow existing
permit holders time to apply for a new Northumberland Shoppers
Permit.
Please Note: Should you decide not to
purchase a new Northumberland Shoppers Permit then you may receive
a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) if you park and continue to display
your old Morpeth Permit following the grace period to the end of
May 2012.
