What might happen to your existing benefit if your circumstances change?

You can find the answers to these questions using our online
benefits calculator which can give you an instant estimate of
what you could claim based on the information you supply.

Before you start to use the calculator you might want to have the following information to hand:

  • details of your income – for example wage slips or any benefits or pensions you receive
  • details of your capital – for example any bank accounts or savings accounts
  • the amount of your rent
  • the amount of council tax you pay

If the calculator will not let you answer a question, it may be because of an answer you have already given.  You can go back and change your previous answers.

Please remember this is an estimate only and we cannot guarantee that this is the exact amount you would receive.
