ICT Guidelines, Policies and Procedures
ICT facilities are provided by the Computer Services Division to over 4,000 users throughout the Council.
The links at the end of this page will take you to the policy documents and guidelines relating to the use of email, the internet and other ICT services and facilities.
These documents describe the responsibilities of everyone in the Council for ensuring that IT facilities are used effectively and that all corporate and personal data is protected, secure and managed appropriately.
Anyone who becomes aware of a security incident or breach should follow the procedure outlined in the "Reporting Security Incidents Procedure" under ICT Policy Documents at the bottom of the page, and complete the first page of the Information Security Event Report Form listed under ICT Policy Documents.
There are also documents providing more information about Computer Services and the IT services available within Northumberland County Council
Further advice and information is always available from ITSecurity@northumberland.gov.uk or from Chris Heane, Information Security Officer, on (01670 53) 3309
