Accounts
The Statement of Accounts is the formal
financial report on the activities of the Council as required by
the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2003 (updated 2006). The
deadline for approval of the draft accounts for each financial year
is 30 June and Deloitte LLP, the Council's independently appointed
external auditor, is responsible for auditing the accounts by 30
September in accordance with these regulations.
2008-2009 was the last year of operation for
the seven councils that operated in Northumberland. This page
contains the Statements of Accounts of these predecessor councils
and the Annual Report of the Northumberland Pension Fund.
Due to the volume of work concerned with the
audit of the accounts, five of the Statements of Accounts of the
former Borough and District Councils are still in the process of
being audited.
