What is the Research Service?

If you are unable to undertake research in person or are perhaps having difficulties with a particular piece of research that you are doing you may wish to make use of our Research Service. Collections Service staff will be pleased to undertake research for you at a rate of £25 per hour. The minimum period of research time that can be requested is one hour. Thereafter research can be requested in half hour blocks of time up to a maximum of three hours per request.

We can undertake research across any of our collections - Archives, Local Studies and 3-D collections. We can also supply photocopies or digital copies of items relevant to your research. The cost of providing these is not included in our standard Research Service.
