The council removes dead animals from public highways or open spaces including the beach. We will collect dogs, cats and anything larger than a cat. We do not remove rabbits or other small wild animals unless they are on a residential street and are causing offence or distress.

We aim to remove a dead animal within four hours of receiving a report.
