National Drug Strategy 2008 - 2018

The Northumberland's Drug Strategy 2006-2009 is currently under review.  The development of the Safer Northumberland Partnership will provide a single strategic framework for drugs, alcohol, crime and disorder issues.  A comprehensive Partnership Plan will be developed in 2009 to reflect all of the key priorities including tackling substance misuse.

 

Treatment Plans - Adult and Young People

Services are commissioned throughout Northumberland and the Drug and Alcohol Action Team produce annual Treatment Plans for Adult and Young People.      

 

Young People

Parents/Carers

If you are a parent or carer and need information for your children or partner regarding drugs and alcohol, ESCAPE Family Support offer counselling, therapies, one to one support and group work for anyone affected by substance misuse - ESCAPE Family Support  Tel  07702 83394 (24 hour helpline)   

  

Alcohol

Northumberland's Alcohol Strategy aims to prevent and reduce the harm caused  by alcohol misuse.
