Your library can provide information on all aspects of job hunting - where to look, how to fill in an application form or write a CV and giving the best possible interview. 

 

Internet Access

Library members can use the Internet free for up to two hours a day.  Use a library PC to search for jobs, download and email application forms and research the company you are applying to work for.

 

Aptitude and Psychometric Testing

Many companies use aptitude and psychometric testing as part of an interview to assess candidates.  Your library has books to help you with these tests and Internet access so that you can practise aptitude and psychometric tests online.

Special collections combine reference and lending books with quality websites, and are available at :

 

Library members can use library computers and scanners free at any library for 2 hours a day to search the Internet and apply for jobs, as well as using printing and photocopying facilities for a small charge.
