Northumberland Readers
also known as: discuss books online, online book club, online reading club, online reading group, reading discussion board, reading forum, talk about books online.
For anybody who lives in or near Northumberland and loves reading - this is the place for you. Northumberland Readers is a place for people to discuss books and receive inspiration on what to read next. There is a dedicated area for people who want to join a reading group or set up a reading group. It's free to join and you can contribute as little or as often as you like.

The online reading community is hosted by Goodreads, a website that is like
Facebook for books! Through Goodreads, you can add friends,
update people on the books you are reading, write reviews and join
discussion groups.

If you are already a 'goodreads' member simply log-in to your
account, click on the 'view' icon above, wait for the new page to
load and then click on the 'join group' link near the top-left

We created this online reading group in the largest social
book recommendation site in the world. There are already over 5
million people using Goodreads and it is a place for everyone,
whether you are a casual reader or a bookworm.
This free online reading group allows you to:
Find other people in our area who love
reading, whether they are members of local book groups or
self-confessed book-addicts. We have members from all over
Northumberland and even the North East.
Talk to local authors such as Dan Smith, Karen
Charlton, Janet MacLeod Trotter and Carolyn Jess-Cooke about
their books, upcoming events and favourite books.
Recommend books you have enjoyed to other
people and get some great ideas on what you should read
next. Find out who else writes like your favourite author or
even discover a book that is a stepping stone into a genre or
author you've never considered.
You can click on the book covers below to read Goodreads reviews
of books we have read.
