Eat cake and change lives at Blyth Library

22 Sep 2017

MacMillian Cancer Support  is  holding its annual coffee morning at Blyth LIbrary on Friday 29th September.

‘The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ by MacmIllian Cancer Support has become a regular feature in the calendar, the aim is clear - raise money, change lives and have some fun whilst doing it!

The first MacMillian Coffee Morning took place in 1990; the idea is that communities and friends come together, gather over a coffee or two and donate the cost of the coffee to MacMillian. Last year the Macmillian Coffee Morning, which takes place all over the UK raised over £29.5 million pounds, and this year they intend to raise even more.

So why not come along to Blyth Library for a nibble and a natter between 10.00 - 12.00. Every slice of cake and cup of coffee will make a huge difference to those people facing cancer.
