Children can plant up Mother’s Day flowers at Hepscott Park

13 Mar 2017

Children are invited to plant the seeds for a wonderful Mother’s Day during a special workshop at the Horticultural Skills Unit, Hepscott Park, near Morpeth.

During the event, on Saturday, 25th March, youngsters will be invited to create a rabbit planter, trug or large trough - the perfect present to give mums the following day.

Families can drop into the Horticultural Skills Unit between 10am and 4pm on the Saturday to create planters, which cost between £5 and £8.

Customers can peruse the many plants for sale at the unit, walk around the garden trail or call into the garden café for a cup of tea or bite to eat.

Hepscott Park is off the A192 Morpeth to Cramlington road; just follow the brown sign to ‘Garden Cafe’.
