Hepscott Park is hosting an Easter plant sale on Saturday, 15th April selling a wide range perennials, shrubs, house plants and tomato plants.
The plants have been grown at Hepscott Park Horticultural Centre which helps adults with learning disabilities acquire new skills in horticulture. All plants are grown from either seed or cuttings so the plants are reasonably priced and are hardier than those imported from Europe.
What’s more, the money generated from the sale of the plants will be reinvested back into this important service.
Customers are also invited to walk around the garden trail or call into the garden café for a cup of tea or bite to eat.
Hepscott Park is off the A192 Morpeth to Cramlington road; just follow the brown sign to ‘Garden Cafe’.
