Easter fun at Hepscott Park

03 Apr 2017

Green fingered  youngsters are invited to take part in eggs-tra special Easter events at the Horticultural Skills Unit, Hepscott Park, near Morpeth.

On Tuesday, 11th April there will be a children’s gardening  workshop  when participants will pot up seedlings to take home. This event costs £5.

On Thursday, 13th April there will be an Easter planter workshop. Children can choose a dog (£12), Easter bunny (£8) or hedgehog (£6) planter to fill with colourful blooms.

Families can drop into the Horticultural Skills Unit between 10am and 4pm on either day to take part in the workshops. No booking is necessary.

There will also be a fun Easter egg trail, running from 10th-22nd April. Children will be challenged to find letters hidden around the site to make a word and successful participants will receive a creme egg.
